Serogi AI Ltd is a planetary research and software company. We build the instruments — search, mapping, voice, reasoning — and then we point them at the largest subject there is.
Serogi was founded by Sergio de Carvalho Neves and is registered in England and Wales as Serogi AI Ltd, company number 16562234. He is the great-grandson of Dr Ayres do Sacramento Menezes, the first Black doctor of São Tomé and Príncipe, after whom the country’s main hospital is still named — a lineage that is the reason this company builds infrastructure rather than products, and the subject of its own section. We build research infrastructure and the things that sit on top of it, and we ship them ourselves rather than licensing someone else’s assistant with our name on the front.
That distinction matters more than it sounds. Most things described as AI products today are a thin layer of interface over a third party’s model, and they behave accordingly: the same assistant, the same voice, the same answers, in a different colour. We own the layers that decide how ours behaves — the routing, the prompting, the memory, the voice pipeline, the search index, the retrieval, the way a reply is shaped before you hear it. When Zero sounds like nothing else, that is why.
The standard everything is held to
The through-line across every product is evidence. A search result you cannot trace is a rumour with better typography, so ours carry their sources. An answer that cannot be checked is not an answer. This is a genuinely inconvenient standard — it makes the work slower and occasionally makes the product admit it does not know — and we hold to it because the alternative is a machine that is confidently wrong at scale, which is worse than useless.
